Email templates

Customize the wording of invoice emails, payment reminders, and receipts.

Email templates set the default subject and message for the emails decavet sends — so your invoices, reminders, and receipts sound like your practice every time, with no retyping.

Prerequisites: Admin role. Set up Email & sending first.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Email templates.
  2. Choose the template to edit (for example, the invoice email, a payment reminder, or a payment receipt).
  3. Edit the subject and message.
  4. Save.

When you send an invoice, it starts from the matching template, and you can still tweak the wording for that one send.

You'll know it worked when…

Sending an invoice (or a reminder) pre-fills your customized subject and message.

Tip: Keep templates short and warm. A clear subject and a one-line message with the invoice attached gets read and paid faster.
