Email & sending

Set up how your practice sends email so invoices and reminders come from you.

decavet sends email on your behalf — invoices, reminders, receipts. The Email & sending settings control the address those come from and how they're sent.

Prerequisites: Admin role.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Email.
  2. Set your practice's sending address and reply-to so clients see your name and can reply to you.
  3. Choose your sending option as offered (a built-in option, or connecting your own email/domain for the best deliverability).
  4. Save and send a test if the option is available.

You'll know it worked when…

A test email — or your next invoice — arrives from your practice's address, and replies come back to you.

Tip: Sending from your own verified address improves the chance your emails land in clients' inboxes rather than spam. If you can connect your domain, do it.
