decavet is practice-management software for mobile veterinarians — vets who work on the road, at barns, farms, ranches, and on-site rather than in a fixed clinic. Whether you run an equine, large-animal, or mixed mobile practice, it keeps your clients, patients, schedule, medical records, inventory, and billing in one place, and it's built to work from a phone or tablet in the field.
You don't need any technical background to use decavet, or to use these guides. Everything here is written in plain language, one task at a time.
How these guides are organized
The help center is grouped the same way you'll think about your work:

A quick word on how decavet thinks
Three ideas carry most of the app:
- Everyone you deal with is a contact — horse owners, trainers, barns, suppliers, and referring vets all live in one address book, labeled by what they are.
- Every animal is a patient, connected to the contact(s) who own and care for it.
- Work happens on a visit, and a visit is what gets billed.
